An innovative, highly-regarded healthcare organization in Colorado is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to help lead a talented team of lawyers and to continue to grow with the organization. This organization has multiple hospitals across Colorado as well as a top academic medical center nationally.

 

They need someone to lead their legal department while also working directly with members of the C-Suite team. The DGC will provide legal advice to the full breadth of clients (across multiple service lines), research and draft agreements and legal memoranda, negotiate transactions and agreements, oversee the assignment of matters, mentor the legal team, work closely with the CLO in the strategic and tactical planning of the Legal Department, and oversee implementation of Legal Department priorities. The DGC will be actively involved in Legal Department priorities, including cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, selecting and managing outside counsel, and establishing and enforcing Legal Department policies. The DGC will serve as a trusted partner to the CLO and will be a key facet of the office to constituents inside and outside of the organization.
